Ingredients and Description:

Angelica sinensis, dong quai, in Chinese當歸, also known as female ginseng, a perennial herb found in the mountains of China, Korea and also in Japan, similar to our Angelica officinalis, but with more active ingredients. 240 HPMC (vegan) green (or transparent) capsules filled with a total of 72,000 milligrams of finely ground Chinese Angelica root.

Effects:

For hot flashes in and after menopause, for the cardiovascular system, for osteoarthritis, similar to ginseng for fatigue, for blood pressure control, plus against inflammation and infection. It has results in headaches and mild anaemia. It refreshes the organism in general. Very useful at the onset of and during menopause.

Usage:

1 - 2 capsules daily for max 3 weeks then skip for 7 days and take again for 3 weeks etc, skip before and during menstruation. It does not therefore replace a varied and balanced diet. Do not take more than 2 capsules per day. The daily dose contains 300 to 600 mg of the active substance.

Warning:

It is not allowed to take Chinese angelica if you intend to become pregnant or during pregnancy. It has a strong effect on the muscles of the urogenital system and may cause miscarriage. If you are taking angelica and come into another condition, stop taking angelica immediately. It is not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. Do not increase the recommended daily dose.
